Microstructure Analysis of Lime-fly Ash Stabilized Bound Macadam with High-temperature Curing and Standard Curing

ABSTRACT
By means of high-temperature curing, the curing period of lime-fly ash stabilized bound macadam is shortened. Using scanning electron microscopy, the rule that the microstructure of the tested samples changes along with the increase of the curing period in high-temperature curing condition is studied. Further more, the rule of the strength enhancement in high-temperature curing and standard curing is essentially studied. The results further prove the feasibility that the high-temperature curing method can shorten the curing period of semi-rigid based stable inorganic bound materials.
