Determination of Benzo pyrene in Groundwater and Drinking Water Samples by High Performance Liquid Chromatography

  • A method for the determination of Benzo pyrene in groundwater and drinking water samples from China Groundwater Survey Project by high performance liquid chromatography was developed. The linear range of the calibration curves was from 2.00 to 80.0 ng/L with correlation coefficient of 0.9999. The detection limit of the method was 1.8 ng/L and the recoveries were 93.1%~103.2% with precision of 6.48%RSD (n=7). The method provides the advantages of low detection limit and high precision.
