Study on Ecological Environmental Pollution Status in Sea Areas of Northeastern Jiaozhou Bay
-
ABSTRACT
The survey of seawater and sediment quality in the northeastern Jiaozhou Bay was conducted in May of 2004 and 2005. Some important indexes for ecoenvironmental assessment such as salinity, pH value, DO, COD, DIN, DIP, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and organochlorine pesticides in seawater and organic carbon, petroleum hydrocarbons, sulphides, Cu, Pb, Cd, Hg, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and organochlorine pesticides in surface sediments were determined. Meanwhile, consulting the data from 2001 survey in this area, a comprehensive assessment to the variation trend for marine ecological environment quality of this area was conducted. Except the contents of some items, such as DIP, Pb, Cd, Hg increased slightly, other items kept relatively stable and with decline trend. In conclusion, the ecoenvironmental quality in sea areas of northeastern Jiaozhou Bay has kept relatively stable, only a few important indexes have aggravation trend.
