Determination of 25 Elements in Soil Samples by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometry
-
ABSTRACT
The quantitative analysis of 25 major, minor and microamount of elements in soil samples were performed using inductively coupled plasmaatomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) with mixed acid sample preparation. The parameters influencing the determination, including selection of the sample digestion method and optimization of the instrument were studied. The precision of the method for the elements is 0.57%~3.50%RSD(n=11). The method has been applied to the determination of these 25 elements in National Standard Reference soil samples and the results are in agreement with the certified values.
