Analysis of Iron Ores from Mongolian by Polarized Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer

  • A method for the determination of TFe, CaO, MgO, SiO2, Al2O3, S, P and Cu in iron ores from Mongolian by polarized energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (EDXRF) with fusion and pressed tablet sample preparation techniques has been developed. The feasibility for the determination of S and P, the adaptability of the Lucas Tooth and Price mathematical correction modes and the optimized determination conditions are discussed in details.
