Abstract:
In this study, ammonium bicarbonatediethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (AB-DTPA) was applied to extract bioavailability of heavy metals in remediation simulation experiments of heavy metalcontaminated soils. The contaminated elements were Cu, Zn and Cd. The remediation material used in this study was Nabentonite. The study showed that AB-DTPA extraction method was stable, and could accurately indicate the bioavailability contents of Cu, Zn and Cd in soil. The extraction rate of Cu, Zn and Cd in soil with AB-DTPA was appropriate for the parallel comparation of remediation effect in simulation experiments. AB-DTPA extraction method can be applied to the remediation simulation experiments of heavy metal contaminated soil.
