Abstract:
Based on the principle of nearinfrared spectrum absorption by altered minerals, optimum measurement wavelength ranges for altered minerals were fixed and qualitative and quantitative analysis for altered minerals in rocks by near infrared spectrometer were accomplished with the mathematics and spectrum learning methods. From the characteristic spectra of altered minerals, spectral parameters were acquired and the models of relationship between altered minerals and oreforming were established. The measured spectral data from the drilling rock cores in Zijinshan Diggings in Fujian province was given as an example to illustrate the credibility of the method and some conclusions on application of the method in altered mineral analysis were also given.
