Abstract:
A method for the determination of lithium in spodumene by flame emission spectrometry was reported in this paper. Samples were digested with HFHClO4 mixed acid and lithium in the sample solution was determined by emission spectrometry. The results showed that in the 1% HNO3(V/V) media and at the air pressure of 0.3 MPa with acetylene flow rate of 1.2 L/min, 100 times of coexistent elements of K, Na, Ca, Ba, Sr did not interfere with determination. The standard addition recovery of the method was 94.0%~106.0% with precision of 1.52%RSD(n=10).
